Balkan Makina has been operating in the field of textile and cotton ginning machines since 1960, in the first years it worked on the production of weaving machines and spare parts for these machines, and especially in the last 20 years, it has been working on the production of cotton cleaning machines for textile and ginning factories.

Our company has started R&D studies on the development of modern ginning machines and cleaning equipment for the processing of machine-harvested cotton in parallel with the machine harvesting studies in cotton that started in our country in 1997.

In 1996, these R&D studies were made more comprehensive with the support of the Technology Development Foundation of Turkey and TUBITAK.

As a result of the Turkish Technology Development Foundation project, which lasted for 2 years and was completed in 2001, our company has reached the capacity to manufacture a complete ginning plant suitable for machine harvesting.

Depending on the increasing business volume, the production of ginning machines, which was previously seen together with textile machines, was moved to a separate business in 2002 and was named Balkan Ginning Machines.
